However, this does not mean that we are not happy to answer your questions personally.
Which print templates can I use?
In principle, we process all common file formats. However, PDF files are preferred for reasons of compatibility.
What can I have printed?
From business cards to large-format posters, you can have everything printed by us. Small and medium-sized print runs (up to 1,000 items) are particularly suitable for digital printing, while offset printing is usually more cost-effective for larger print runs.
What is an optimal print file?
- The file should be created in the final format or be scalable (e.g. DIN A4 for DIN A3).
- The resolution should be 300 dpi. For large formats, 150 dpi is sufficient; for high-quality reproductions, such as art prints, 600 dpi is better.
- JPG files should be compressed to the highest quality.
- Fonts should be embedded and supplied or converted into paths.
- Do not forget 1 – 3 mm bleed (for printing in bleed, borderless)
- No transparency and gradient functions (convert to bitmap)
- Color mode CMYK (RGB may cause color deviations)
- Some programs (Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDraw, InDesign, etc.) have their own PDF export function. Please inform yourself about the settings.
